Manufacturing Process
Grade C250 Pipe is manufactured for general mechanical and low-pressure reticulation applications using advanced cold-forming and high-frequency Electric Resistance Welding (ERW) technology. The cold-forming process improves pipe strength, hardness, and surface finish while maintaining precise dimensional tolerances for industrial performance.
Throughout production, each pipe undergoes non-destructive Eddy Current testing to ensure structural integrity, welding consistency, and compliance with international quality standards.
Galvanised Finish
Hot-dipped galvanized pipe is manufactured and tested in accordance with AS 4792 standards to provide long-term corrosion resistance and dependable field performance.

- Coating Mass: 300 g/m² minimum average on both sides
- High adhesion galvanizing suitable for bending applications
- Pipe can be bent to a radius of 6× the pipe diameter without coating failure
- Available in red, black, and galvanized finishes
Standard Lengths
Available in sizes ranging from DN 20 to DN 150, MHP Grade C250 pipes are supplied in standard 6.5-meter lengths to support efficient transportation, handling, and on-site installation. Customers can choose from red oxide, black steel, or hot-dip galvanized finishes depending on project requirements and environmental conditions. The galvanized option provides enhanced corrosion resistance and long-term durability for demanding industrial and outdoor applications. Please note that DN refers to Nominal Diameter and replaces the traditional NB (Nominal Bore) designation used in earlier piping standards.
